BLUF: If you’re looking for a good dealership that has a no BS customer service with a bunch of great dudes, North Texas Truck Stop is the spot. I was on the hunt for a clean 17-19 F-450 which is about like trying to find a unicorn in a field full of horses. I looked all around the Houston area and found nothing worth pulling a $60K+ trigger for. I found North Texas Truck Stop on CarGurus. They had two on the lot to choose from. I also had a list of a couple others over in Arlington I wanted to check out. So I booked a hotel room and hopped in the truck pointed North. I made it out to NTTS the next day. Pulled in and parked with plenty of room without a salesman jumping in your pocket before the truck gets shut off. A plus right off the bat. I walk inside and meet Ryan. I tell him what I’m looking for. Too easy. No sway or push either way, he grabs the keys and out the door we go. Both 450s, a Lariat and a King Ranch, get pulled out. He hands me the keys for the Lariat and says go for a spin, take as long as you want. Come get me in the office when you get back. A plus number two. I’m pretty particular and thorough when looking at a truck and he just left me alone and let me do my thing. Plus number 3. I take the Lariat out for a test drive for a good 40-45 mins. Beautiful looking truck but just not quite what fit the mold for sticking under my toyhauler. We swap out for the KR. Rinse and repeat. Ryan leaves me alone and lets me do my thing. Keep adding to the list of pros. I run the KR around for about the same time. Absolutely awesome looking and driving truck. It checked all of the blocks and then some. Automatically pushed the KR to the top of the list but I still wanted to check out the others in Arlington. I discussed this with Ryan and there was no qualms to walking out without making a solid decision. It was nice to have a “take it or leave it” dynamic rather than the claws trying to keep you on the lot. The pros list still keeps on growing. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have wasted my time with Arlington because both were garbage and Autonation Arlington sucks. I get another room for the night and sleep on it. Ryan calls the following morning to touch base. I’ve lost count of the pros by now. I was kinda muddling on the decision but I wound up pulling the trigger that afternoon. Back at NTTS I meet up with Ryan and was introduced to Grant running the finance paperwork. Both are awesome guys and made the whole experience stress free, simple, and easy. The finance process went through quick without any major hiccups. Almost spent more time talking “trucks” than it did to finalize everything. I can’t complain about that. Grant pushed to get me the best rate as possible. Another respected pro. Overall, I cant really come up with any cons. It’s the only time buying a truck that I haven’t been irritated by something. That speaks for itself. North Texas Truck Stop is the the place to go. Even if it is a drive, totally worth it to send your family and friends that way.... More

Grant was superb. The whole dealership is wonderful. I called first thing this morning to come view a truck and I immediately filed me in for a meet. Test drove for an hour , loved everything about it. Came back and made a deal, originally I had been pre approved with my bank but the rates and such weren’t as great and grant with permission asked to submit through his end and was able to get me a much better term that I was happier with. Great experience. Had the paperwork ready when we got there, no sitting for hours like every other dealership. First price was a fair price so no need to argue back and forth. Met the whole staff, just really great folks. We have bought many vehicles and this was the first time I actually enjoyed the process.
